Units in sea-facing condominiums and landed homes in Siglap and Frankel are exposed to higher humidity and salt-laden air than inland estates — this accelerates coil fouling and, in older systems, contributes to corrosion of aluminium fin surfaces. We recommend a chemical wash every 6–9 months for East Coast units that run continuously and face the sea directly, versus the standard annual wash for more sheltered properties.
