What's included

What we do when we service your Mitsubishi Electric

Mitsubishi Electric units — including the popular Starmex multi-split systems — are well-engineered, but Singapore's humidity accelerates mould and mineral buildup on the evaporator coil and in the drainage system. Neglected units run harder, cost more to operate, and wear out faster.

For standard servicing, we clean and disinfect the air filters, clean the evaporator coil, clear the drainage tray and pipes, clean the blower wheel, vacuum the drain line, and run a compressor pressure check. For Starmex multi-split systems, we service each indoor unit individually — the outdoor unit is inspected as part of the compressor check.

For a chemical wash, the coil is flushed with chemical solution, all components are high-pressure washed, and the drainage system is fully flushed.

Before-and-after photos are sent to you after every service. Any issues found — low gas, cracked tray, loose connections — are flagged and quoted before we proceed.

Common issues

Common Mitsubishi Electric aircon problems we fix

Mitsubishi Electric not cold

Usually a dirty evaporator coil reducing airflow, or low refrigerant gas. A chemical wash resolves most coil-related cooling issues. If gas is low, we diagnose the cause first — low gas in a well-maintained unit usually means a slow leak somewhere.

Starmex system one room not cooling

In Starmex multi-split setups, one indoor unit can underperform while others work fine. Common causes: that unit's coil is significantly dirtier, or refrigerant distribution is uneven. We assess each indoor unit individually and advise clearly.

Mitsubishi Electric leaking water

Blocked drainage is the most common cause — cleared as part of every standard service. If the drain tray is cracked or the pipe has come loose, we'll show you the problem and quote a fix before doing any repair work.

Mitsubishi Electric error codes (E6, P8, etc.)

Mitsubishi Electric error codes indicate specific faults — drainage issues, refrigerant problems, sensor faults. We diagnose on-site and explain what the code means in plain terms, and what it'll cost to fix.

Mitsubishi Electric servicing questions

Can't find your answer? Just ask us.

Ask on WhatsApp →
How much does Mitsubishi Electric aircon servicing cost?+
$50 for 1 unit, $30/unit for 2 units, $25/unit for 3 or more. Chemical wash: $60 for 1 unit, $50/unit for 2+. All prices include before-and-after photos, shoe covers, and compressor check — no hidden charges.
Do you service Starmex multi-split systems?+
Yes — Starmex multi-split systems are one of the most common setups we service. We service each indoor unit individually. Pricing is per indoor unit, same as single-split systems.
Which Mitsubishi Electric models do you service?+
All models — MSY-GN, MSY-GL, MSY-GH, MSY-AN, MSXY Starmex multi-split, PL ceiling cassette, PEAD concealed ceiling, and older non-inverter units. WhatsApp us your model number if you're unsure.
How often should I service my Mitsubishi Electric aircon?+
Every 3 months for standard servicing. A chemical wash every 6–12 months. For Starmex multi-split systems, all indoor units should be serviced at the same time — neglecting one unit affects overall system performance.
Does servicing the Mitsubishi Electric i-see sensor affect its calibration?+
No. The i-see sensor on MSY-GN models only needs its lens cleaned — which we do during every service. It does not require recalibration after cleaning and should work normally immediately after the service.
