In Singapore's humidity, most "not cold" issues come down to one of four things: a dirty evaporator coil, low refrigerant, a blocked filter, or a failing compressor. We diagnose on-site and fix it the same visit — usually in under two hours.
These four causes account for the vast majority of "not cold" aircon problems in Singapore. Knowing which one applies helps us fix it faster — but we'll confirm on-site before we start work.
We don't guess. We confirm the cause on-site, then fix it — usually in the same visit.
First thing we check. A blocked filter is the easiest fix. If it's clogged, we clean it. If there's deeper buildup on the coil, we'll move to a chemical wash.
We remove the front panel and inspect the coil directly. Heavy dust and biofilm buildup is usually visible and confirms a chemical wash is needed. We photograph before and after.
Using a manifold gauge, we check the operating pressure of the refrigerant circuit. Below-range pressure indicates a leak. We top up gas and advise on the source of the leak.
If filter and refrigerant are both fine, we check the compressor and capacitor. We'll give you a clear recommendation — repair, replace compressor, or whether a new unit makes more economic sense.
We run the unit for 10–15 minutes after servicing to confirm it's hitting temperature. You'll feel the difference before we pack up.
Most "not cold" fixes involve a chemical wash, gas top-up, or both. We quote clearly before we start — no surprises on arrival.
