Older AMK units in blocks built before 1990 often have drainage systems that need more attention — the internal pipework can accumulate scale and biological growth faster in flats that have had multiple generations of aircon units installed. A chemical wash is particularly worthwhile for these units if it hasn't been done in the last year or two. We assess every unit honestly and recommend only what's needed.
